custom fabrication
Fabrication is a blanket term referring to simply customization. At Hot Rod Hegarty, custom is our specialty. Every car, and every project is customized to your specific needs. Our team can fabricate just about anything you can imagine from exhaust systems, to frames, we have done it all.
Custom Paint
The cherry on top, a car is incomplete without a proper paint job. We have very high standards both in prep work and finishing work, we recognize that the first thing you and others see on your car is the paint. Our paint is made it to last, and with protection options available it can stay shiny and healthy for years to come.
engine building
Whether you want a stock engine with modern parts, or a blueprinted crate motor, the engine is arguably one of the most important parts of any car. We build engines to last using tried and true methods.
custom interior
Restoration and customization of interiors bring a fresh look and feel to your car. After all, this is where we live when we are driving, a functional and well thought out interior is what we touch and feel while driving and is often overlooked when building a car. Ranging from an OEM look and feel to a complete custom interior, we have built it!
fuel injection & Tune ups
One of the most common upgrades to classic cars is ditching that old clumsy carburetor and upgrading to fuel injection. Offering precise tuning, efficiency, reliability and power, fuel injection is a cost effective add on to your car. If you’d like to keep your carburetor and need a tune up give us a call, rebuilding and tuning carburetors is a dying art in America, but Hegarty is proud to say we know this art form well.

Slowing down is an important part of driving, after all, once you’ve built your engine and can go forward quickly, you might want to stop at some point. We offer basic brake rebuilding and tuning along with installing modern big brake kits that offer better stopping power than most modern vehicles.
